Do Your Part To Encourage Safer Driving

Encouraging Safer Driving isn't just a motto, it should be how we drive every day. Leading by example is the best way that we can encourage others to actively work on becoming better drivers and in turn mentors for younger drivers. Here are a few simple ways you can encourage safer driving when you are on the road so that the roads become a better place.

PUT YOUR MOBILE PHONE IN THE GLOVE BOX

Make this the first thing you do when you get in your car. If you have Bluetooth then you can still take hands free calls.

DRIVE TO THE SPEED LIMIT

Driving too slowly or too fast can not only be annoying for other drivers but is also dangerous. Be aware of what the speed limit is and aim to drive around that speed and obviously adjust to traffic conditions.

MAKE WAY FOR EMERGENCY VEHICLES

Always stay alert and ready to move out of the way of emergency vehicles with flashing lights. Get out of the way, move into another lane or stop on the side of the road to allow emergency vehicles to get to where they are needed.
